ASAP Reporting Academic Scholarship
To encourage current court reporting students to continue to strive for their career goals, ASAP Reporting Services is pleased to offer the following bi-annual scholarship to a deserving student who meets the requirements listed below.
Scholarship Description
Value: $1500
Availability: Open 2 times per year. Deadlines are January 31st and June 30th.
Qualifications:
- must be a Canadian citizen
- must be a full-time student of court reporting in Ontario
- must be enroled in a full-time program for at least 6 months
- passed a 100 wpm or faster realtime test at 95%+ accuracy
- must demonstrate a 75% minimum total average on academic courses
- must have participated in community service activities for a minimum of 30 hours in the last year prior to application
- must not have received an ASAP Reporting Entrance Scholarship
- must complete the scholarship application procedures
Selection Process:
Scholarship application forms will be available one month before the deadline. A selection committee will review the applications and select a winner if one meets all the requirements. The winner will be notified within one month after the application deadline at which time the award will be credited to the student's school account.
Restrictions
Applicants who received an entrance scholarship are not eligible to apply.
Award recipients may only receive one award during their course of study.

ASAP Reporting Entrance Scholarship
To increase awareness about the shortage of labour in the court reporting industry, ASAP Reporting Services is pleased to offer the following bi-annual scholarship to a new court reporting student who meets the requirements listed below.
Scholarship Description
Value: $1500
Availability: Open 2 times per year. Deadlines are January 31st and June 30th.
Qualifications:
- must be a Canadian citizen
- must have a high school diploma and be 18 years of age or older
- eligible to prospective students entering a full-time court reporting diploma program in Ontario
- must demonstrate a 75% minimum total average on last year of study
- must have participated in community service activities for a minimum of 30 hours in the last year prior to application
- must complete the scholarship application procedures
Selection Process:
Scholarship application forms will be available one month before the deadline. A selection committee will review the applications and select a winner if one meets all the requirements. The winner will be notified within one month after the application deadline. Winners' school accounts will be credited with the award 6 months after program start date.
